It’s the way it is, anymore, I’m told. The artist has to be his own manager and booking agent. So, I’ve been catching up on marketing plans and pushing the social media angle. I’ve followed up, pushed and pestered. And, I must admit, I’m getting results.
But getting gigs and booking shows is a job and a half. Leaving little time for me to write and rehearse the music I’m promoting.
I’m told it all has to do proper time management.
