The Verdict’s Still Out On that One.

My best friend can no longer do the job she used to do so well and it’s breaking her heart.

Which, in turn, is breaking mine.

I don’t want to talk about it though it’s always on my mind.

I want to help her get through these next couple of weeks. That’s when her old life will end and a new one will begin.

I hope she can handle it.

About joefingas

I am a songwriter, poet, blues singer, and a boogie woogie piano player. I have a grandson but I have no children of my own. All my women have wised up and left me. I was a bum, a wino, a drug/alcohol counselor, a prevention/intervention specialist and a pretender. I have no more time to pretend.
