So my friend, Eddie, said, “You’re letting the whims of another determine your happiness/unhappiness.”

And I said, “Exactly.”

I was mad. I hadn’t heard from her since the day before her birthday and I wanted to talk w/ her, or text w/ her, or chat w/ her or skype w/ her… whatever way social media wise, I wanted to make contact. But she wasn’t having anything of it.

The next to last last time we had chatted, she said, “My cell phone is not acting right.”

So I sent, via e-mail, the MoneyGram reference # she needed to pick up her birthday spending cash.

The last time we chatted, I asked, “Did you get the number?”

And she said, “Yes.”

And I said, “Have a great day tomorrow. I love you.”

And she said, “Thanks.”

And I said, “Talk to ya tomorrow.”

And she said, “I hope so.”

She said she wasn’t feeling well.

She said her 17 year old son had come back to live w/ her and was being “rebellious.”

I haven’t heard from her since.

It’s been two whole days.
